    codeIt.Right and styleCop

    Hi,

I was wondering if there any plans for codeitright to automatically correct notifications that stylecop in visual studio generates.

Stylecop generates over 1000 violations on our code, but these are things like incorrect use of spaces and not having full stops at the end of comments.  CodeIt.Right would be perfect to automatically correct these problems.

I'm sure many people would like this feature and would make your product more desirable.

also is there a way to remove the trial licence restriction, as i would like to try out the beta release but can't as I installed an older version more than 30 days ago?

     Thanks

     Nick

    Re: codeIt.Right and styleCop

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for the suggestion - these help us prioritize our feature list.

We have implemented 100+ rules in CodeIt.Right so far and have 150+ on our list to do. CodeIt.Right by design combines most of the rules you find in FxCop and StyleCop. We prioritized the future rules and those that correct secuirty and performance issues are given highest priority. While have some of the formatting rules on our list as well, I will be honest they are not on the top of the list. You will see some rules included into upcoming version that deal with headers, comments and other template based issues.

Re the trial license - please email us at support@submain.com and we will have our trial extended.

    Thank you,
