How should I handle adding words to the dictionary?

    Hello,

I have a list of words I would like to add to the dictionary (so they will not come up as missspelled).  Obviously I can run the spell check and then choose to add the words, but I already have a file with the words in it (and I know they are spelled correctly).  Is there a way to add these words, or create a custom dictionary from them?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Pat,

The easiest way to get your word list into the custom dictionary is to

    1. Run CodeIt.Right analysis in the VS IDE
    2. Find one of the spelling violations and execute correction action "Add ... to dictionary"
    3. Step #2 above creates user.dic file in <USER>\<DOCUMENTS>\SubMain\CodeIt.Right for VSxxxx\Dic
    4. Add your list of words in to the user.dic file - one word per line
    And you are done! :)

    Thank you,
