    The big question??

I guess the big question is when will v3.5 projects be supported and will that be a paid for upgrade or will it be a point release? We are on the cusp of moving to 3.5 but think that this could be a tool for general cleanup before we jump to 3.5 from 2 and hopefully give us a little time for u guys to catch up with support but we would not want the chance to stray too long.

    Re: The big question??

    Hi Custa,

We are pretty much done with the 3.5 syntax and new version is going through internal testing phase. ETA for the 3.5 version is late May. There is quite a bit of testing involved as both parsing and refactoring engines were significantly modified to accommodate the new 3.5 features. As soon as we have a public beta ready we will post about that on your blog - http://submain.com/blog

When you buy the product now, you get complimentary 1 year of software assurance and gold support subscription. So the 3.5 upgrade will be free for you.

    Serge,

Will these modifications require any updates to custom rules created for earlier versions?

    Thanks,

    Grant

    Re: The big question??

    Hi Grant,

No, the 1.1 release will not require updates to custom rules you already created. The changes to support 3.5 syntax affect only the parsing and refactoring engines, the public SDK interface will remain intact.

Hi guys just wondering how that 3.5 version is coming along? :) Your product did come up again in a meeting I had the other day so it would be good to give my manager a status update on when we can seriously look at it.
