    Solution too big

I try to run CodeIt.Right on one of our solutions and each time crashes and restart VS2005. (I assume 'out of memory' reason). Looking at the progress bar it seems it is looking into the DataSet designer generated code (altough is in <DataSet>.Designer.cs file format that is Excluded in Options). I do have 2Gb RAM on my PC. Any suggestion?

    Hi Sorin,

If you exclude Designer files, we do not analyse them even though you will see them in the progress bar.

Can you please send CodeIt.Right log file to support@submain.com for troubleshooting? (CodeIt.Right menu -> Help & Support -> Email Log file and attach it)

As a workaround, please try to run analysis only on one project at a time and see that helps. (CodeIt.Right menu -> Start Analysis -> select project)

    Re: Solution too big

I did send the log file, even if I select one project at a time, same crash, it looks like the scan goes trough all solution's projects no mater what project I select.

    Thanks,

    Sorin

    Re: Solution too big

    Hi Sorin,

Can you please run the debug version we've built to troubleshoot this issue and email the new log file to us again?

Here is what you will need to do:

    1. Uninstall the current version you have
    2. Delete the log file
    3. Install the debug build - http://submain.com/download/cir_1.0.08035.debug.20080512.zip
    4. Open the project that CIR was blowing up on
    5. Run Analysis and confirm you get the same error
    6. Email the new log file to us

It's up to you if you want reinstall the release version or keep the debug build - they are almost identical but the latter has enhanced logging turned on.

    Re: Solution too big

OK, I'm ready to give another try hoping my issue was addressed, I saw there is 1,1x beta version available, but when installed I get the evaluation expired message, I was thinking that being a new major version it will reset the timer. Could you please help me with this?

    Thank you,

    Sorin
