PrettyCode.Print for .NET

Lines and Numbering

I'm trying to print some code with line numbers, and I don't want PCP to skip the blank lines. I want it too look as it does in VS2008, where the blank lines still have number. When I unchecked "Skip Blank Lines", PCP still skips them. Is this a know issue or just something I'm doing wrong?

How do you change the paper orientation???

I have looked in every 'options' tab and have no clue where I'm allowed to change the paper orientation from Portrait to Landscape... Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Cannot use PrettyCode.Print for NET from VS 2008

Comments Being Excluded

Hello,

I have recently started using PCP in conjunction with Visual Basic.NET 2005. I have been in the habit of placing my comments for a method just below the method call and before my first Dim. Here is an example of a method:

----------------------- Code -----------------------
Public Sub mySub()

'My comments normally go here...
Dim myVariable As String
Code would go here

End Sub
----------------------- Code -----------------------

When I print the code using PCP my comments above my first Dim get removed, and the Dim moved all the way up to just below the Public Sub. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Accent characters

I'm testing PrettyCode.Print for .Net and the output preview and printing has no accent chars. Why?

Print just the code that I wrote.

I just started to use the trail verson of "Pretty Code Print" and what I want from the product is to print just my code and not all of the code that is automatically generated. Is there a way to print just the code that I generated?

pcp for net 2005 not showing all class methods

I am using pcp for net 2005.

In the class I am trying to print, I had, oh, about 20 methods. I was able to print and things looked fine. I have since added another couple of methods but now, when I try to print using pcp, the new methods don't show up in the 'Class Details' grid. I have tried reloading the project. I have shut down the IDE and reopened it with no luck. Heck, I even restarted my system to see if that would have any effect (it didn't). What could be the problem?

In PrettyCode.Print for VS2005:

I get this message "There is no class details information"

instead of a list of methods. Other classes in my project parse fine.

I have looked for anything different in the text of the class, but it has the same sort of thing:

a copyright comment

imports statements

regions containing class variables, public and private methods

Javscript/HTML Support

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any plans to include javascript/html as a supported language? I only ask this because with .Net for ASP they are so tightly integrated, it would be nice to a a uniform look to the printed documentation.

Maximize Form Issue

I noticed a problem when I maximize the main form. The form does not go to the very top of my screen. There's a gap of approximately 4mm between the top of the form and the top of my screen. The sides and bottom appear to be ok. The Print Preview form is properly maximized.

I'm running Windows XP with a 1280 x 800 screen resolution.

Code Structure Display Not Working

I am evaluating your product because I am very interested. I tested it out on a C# class that is roughly 3000 lines long. At about line 2500 the stucture display is incorrect. The brackets don't line up with the code blocks and the indenting is off. If you need the example please let me know.

Do you offer student licensing?

Toolbar icon & printer settings

PrettyCode.Print puts a 'funny' icon on the toolbar of VS.Net which has no
observable effect, but overlays other tools (see screenshot).

Setup in use:

PCP for VB.Net v 1.0.96

VS.Net 2003 build 7.1.3088

Win XP Pro SP2a

Any ideas?

PS One other thing: Is it possible to set the printer properties in PCP for
.Net ?? eg to set 'draft' mode?
