Is there any sort of Options window for SmartOutline? I would like to get rid of the burgundy markers that it places on the left margin. Also, I would like the SOData file to be updated when I save the file, not when I close the project. Any way to do this?

There is no options window for now and you can't get rid the markers. The SOData file is updated each time you close a document in Visual Studio. We will add these issues in our TODO list for the next build.
