My XXX.sln.GhostDoc.xml gets overwritten every time I "Build Help File"

Hi, I am trying to add some Conceptual Content pages to my existing project. I am trying to add the pages from the example project which is included in the Enterprise installation. Since I already have a XXX.sln.GhostDoc.xml file, I just edit it like the instructions say and change this node to the following:

    <ConceptualContent> <ContentLayout file="ClassLibrary1.content" folder="Content\" /> <MediaContent file="MediaContent.xml" folder="Media\" /> <CodeSnippetsFile>ClassLibrary1.snippets</CodeSnippetsFile> <TokensFile>ClassLibrary1.tokens</TokensFile> <AdditionalContentFolder>Other\</AdditionalContentFolder> </ConceptualContent>

(But I set the filenames to my project name)

My problem is that when I "Build Help File", the xml file gets reverted back to the original form! And all the changes I made to the ConceptualContent node dissapears. Am I missing something?

    Cheers

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for reporting that.

What GhostDoc version are you using?
Could you please send us the LOG file (c:\Users\<user>\Documents\SubMain\GhostDoc Enterprise for VS20XX\GhostDoc Enterprise.log) to the support at submain dot com.

    Thank you,

Problem solved. I thought I should share the solution if anyone else runs into the same problem. Solution: you cannot edit the xml file if you have the project opened in Visual Studio! Close Visual Studio and make your changes. Then open the project again and your changes will not be overwritten.

This tripped me up as well. Any chance on getting this fixed so I don't have to close the solution during initial configuration?
