CIR enforces that declared fields are handled in the serialization code (GetObjectData, protected constructor), but it is unclear if this support is extended to automatic properties. If so, how is this handled, and if not, this should be added as it is very important.

The released build of CodeIt.Right doesn't support automatic properties but we are aware of the serialization issue with them This will be added right after we finish the 3.5 syntax (soon).
