Hi,

 I've tried updating the older 2.13 version of Ghostdoc with the new 2.5 version.

I have VS2005 and VS2008 both installed on my machine.

With VS2008 everything is fine, it installed ok and I could set the key binding without problem on the configuration screen that came up when starting VS2008.

But VS2005 is a different story, installation went ok and when I then run VS2005 and get the configuration screen to select a key binding. But when I select a binding and try to continue I get an error message telling me that an error occurred while creating the key binding. It then tells me I need to skip to the next step, which I can do and I can complete the rest of the config process ok.

 However, after that GhostDoc doesn't seem to be being loaded by VS2005. There's no menu option and if I try to set a key binding manually through the VS options menu, there are no entries in the list for GhostDoc.

Can anyone help at all?

Can you please do the following:

• uninstall SubMain GhostDoc (v2.5)
  
• uninstall GhostDoc v2.1.3
• run “devenv.exe /setup” for VS2005
• install SubMain GhostDoc (v2.5)
• run VS2005, complete wizard and make sure that GhostDoc is listed in Help->About and you can see the menu in Tools->GhostDoc.
