  • Configuring a filter on a parameter in method rule doesn't do anything

When making a new custom rule section for methods and clicking on the <any> link to change the parameter filter the new custom rule window just closes. I tried reinstalling 4 and the new beta version both have the same problem for me. (every time i created a new set of rules)

  • #Regions in Code

I believe that I am having issues documenting a file because it has #regions within the method itself. Once this method is found in the file documentation stops from that point forward. Is this a known issue?   Thanks, Ben

  • Exception Documentation

When given a exception like the following: throw new ArgumentNullException("collectionToAddFrom"); It would be nice if the documentation included the param so something like this /// <exception cref="System.ArgumentNullException">collectionToAddFrom</exception> rather then the current /// <exception ...

  • Default value for bool? (Nullable boolean) is misleading

I don't see where this template can be configured, but a property, for instance: public bool? MyProperty {get;set;} Will document the value as:   /// <value><c>true</c> if [my property]; otherwise, <c>false</c>.</value>.  This is misleading because a bool? supports three values: null, ...

  • Installer does not perform an upgrade

This isn't a major issue, more of a usability thing. When installing GhostDoc v4 Beta, the installer doesn't perform the necessary maintenance to complete the installation.  It displays a dialog that says a previous version was found and should be uninstalled before continuing.  It'd be nice if the installer performed a ...

  • About 'Generate Help Folder for Solution...'

Hi, Generate Help Folder for Solution... is a great feature, but when i select a new folder in Desktop for output, the html output is missing and the icons and stylesheets go into system drive. Don't know why.   Also it would be nice if there will be option to generate help folder for a PROJECT, not just whole ...

  • Would not document interfaces

I uninstalled a previous version of GhostDoc used with VS2010 and installed the Pro Beta version for my VS2012 installation.  The install ran fine but when I ran VS2012 and tried to document some code, everything was documented correctly but interfaces. I started poking around the GhostDoc menu and saw the option to run the Wizard so I went ...

  • Suggestion: Option to disable blank comments

Please can we have an option to disable the blank comment creation when doing a "bulk" process - that is, documenting a class/file/solution.

  • Suggestion: Blank line before comments

So that the resulting code is StyleCop compliant (and in my personal opinion, just looks better) can GhostDoc insert a blank line (if it does not already exist) between the new documentation comments and the previous element?  Perhaps this should be configurable.

  • Installing GhostDoc V4 Beta (Last three versions) Prevents VS2012 from Starting

I have tried the last three version of the beta and as soon as I install it for VS2012 (RTM) then VS2012 will not start - ntdll error.  Possibly conflict with other extensions - VSCommands would be my thought.
