Re: Visual Studio ('15 and '17) Extension manager reports updates after newest install

Re: Visual Studio ('15 and '17) Extension manager reports updates after newest install

    Hello,

This is due introducing the VSIX installer for VS2017 while the older version was still MSI-based.

Please uninstall the older version of GhostDoc through Control Panel -> Programs and Features and after that you will be able to install the VSIX version.

This won't be a problem going forward as long as you only use the VSIX in VS2017.

For VS2015 we are releasing a fixed MSI based setup by the end of this week that won't show up in the Extension Manager anymore.

    Thanks!

    Thank you,
    Serge Baranovsky
