Coverage Results "Go To"

    Coverage Results "Go To"

When I double click or right-click a method and select "View" in the Coverage Results window, I would expect it would go to the method declaration. However, whenever I do this it goes to the type declaration instead (as if I clicked the type name in the Coverage Results window). Is this correct behavior?

    VS2010 SP1, TM 3, Windows XP

    Re: Coverage Results "Go To"

It is not correct behavior. "View" in the Coverage Results window should navigate to method declaration.

Could you provide us with method declaration(s) with incorrect behavior?

Also, it would be nice if you provide us with LOG file (from <My Documents>\SubMain\TestMatrix\)

    Thank you,

    Re: Coverage Results "Go To"

I managed to consistently repeat the issue with a fairly simple, generic class from our codebase. Attached is a zip file with a VS2010 project and the log files. Ran all tests in the "-Test" project with code coverage enabled. When I double click on ReferenceTracker.TryAdd in the coverage results, it goes to the ReferenceTracker type and not the method. Clicking a constructor seems to work in any case where I have seen this behavior.
