I just updated my Ghost Doc Pro to the latest version in both VS 2015 and 2017 on two different PCs. On one computer I performed the updates via the Ghost Doc add-in's Update dialog and on another I installed via Visual Studio extension manager. After seeing this problem persist, I manually downloaded from the website and installed the setup file / extension package separately. What I am seeing is that Visual Studio extension manager reports Ghost Doc installed as version 1.0 with an update available to 5.5.17070, while the Ghost Doc Update window reports the version accurately. When I attempt to install the update it provides, it fails with an error message (which differs in the two versions) that basically says there were no eligible products to upgrade.
This is annoying because Visual Studio keeps the notification about the update every time I restart the application.
I tried adding pictures to this post, but in case it didn't work I've linked to them on IMGUR. They should show both windows in question.
