    Creating a rule to add prefix to text box control

    1. I created the following rule for my asp.net application

    Rule 1

    RuleType:Use prefix for return type

    Target:Member ->Feild & Variable

    PrefixToCheck : txt

    Rule 2

    RuleType:Use prefix for Derivedtype

    Target:Member ->Feild

    PrefixToCheck : txt

    Both these rules failed to work.

    2. codeIt.right dies when i do 2 or more clicks on the rules>Properties >Targert tree view control

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Re: Creating a rule to add prefix to text box control

    Hi Santosh,

    For the #1 we are still working to have CodeIt.Right pick up controls declared in HTML markup. At the moment CIR only handles code-behind and in-file scripts in ASP.NET.

    #2 has been addresses in the upcoming version and you can download the Beta right now. See http://tinyurl.com/cir11-beta for details.

    Thank you,
    Serge Baranovsky
