  • Installer issues

I've been trying to un-install/re-install GhostDoc 4.9 installed for a while.  Every time it runs, I get a Windows Installer error of: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.  It is looking for tmpDF07.msi in C:\Users\rpuust\AppData\Local\Temp\ and I can’t ...

  • Update Process

I've been using Ghostdoc for a long time now, and while the product is great, the thing which still frustrates me is the update process.  Whereas most Visual Studio addins use the built-in update process, GhostDoc is still installed separately (I don't know if there is a specific reason for this).  The update process is much ...

  • GhostDoc fails to add any documentation when invoked

GhostDoc 4.0 is not adding any documentation when I invoke it. I have tried binding it to alternate shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+D and Ctrl+Shift+K) and also invoking it with CodeRush, but although CodeRush showed it was invoked there was no xml documentation added to my method or class. I'm on a network, MyDocuments is a network share folder ...

  • Need (un-)installer for GhostDoc 3.0.11216

Hi, I'm unable to uninstall my old copy of ghostDoc, as the relevant .tmp file is gone from the temp directory. I tried downloading the legacy version to re-create the tmp file, but the legacy version on the site has a very slightly different version number, and doesn't work. Can I get an old GhostDoc 3.0.11216 installer somewhere so I ...

  • Web/WCF Service Reference?

I have a problem with my Visual Studio 2010 builds emitting warnings for all of the undocumented public methods in Service References I have in my solution (I have many).   I expressly purchased GhostDoc Pro to put comments on all of the web services automatically.    What is the proper/quick way to do that? Also, does ...

  • Cannot uninstall GhostDoc Pro

I can't uninstall GhostDoc Pro completely. I checked "Add/Remove Programs" on this Windows 7 box but there is no entry for "GhostDoc" or "SubMain".I check Windows Explorer and found this folder...C:\Program Files (x86)\SubMain\GhostDoc\...with a bunch of stuff in it (DLLs and CHMs and etc) but there is no EXE ...

  • Error installing GhostDoc v4 Beta on Windows 7 x64 machine

I ran into this issue installing GhostDoc v3 as well and just decided to live without it for awhile. So when I saw that v4 was out to try I thought I'd give it a shot. But there's still a weird permissions issue when trying to install it.  I took the standard approach of running the unzipped file of "GhostDoc ...
